Boss Introduces The DR-01S Rhythm Partner Drum Machine
Looking to add a little rhythm to your acoustic sessions? Boss has introduced the DR-01S Rhythm Partner, a drum machine they describe as “the world’s first virtual percussionist designed specifically for acoustic musicians.” The unit allows for setting the tempo, volume, and variation for your beat with several percussion instruments that can be put into our out of the mix.

The DR-01S offers up to seven simultaneous instrument categories with 3/4, 4/4, and 6/8 time signatures. Each category has dedicated patterns with the ability to layer each on top of each other. Users can save 50 rhythms for quick recall.
For connectivity, the unit has an aux input, a line out, and a footswitch jack. It’s powered by six AA batteries or an included AC adapter. The Boss DR-01S is available now for $229.99.
