Ashdown Engineering Adds Kick-Back Bass Combos to OriginAL Series
A year after launching the head and preamp pedal, Ashdown has expanded their OriginAL range with two kick-back bass combo amps: the OriginAL C112-300 and the OriginAL C210-300. Both units are rated at 300 watts with the main difference being different woofer combinations.
“Each OriginAL combo is loaded with Ashdown Whiteline speakers, proven to deliver Ashdown’s signature bass tone, with clarity and transparency that cuts through,” the company writes. “Ashdown?s OriginAL C210 provides full power to its internal 10 –inch speakers. Meanwhile, the C112 has the flexibility of adding an additional 8-ohm Ashdown extension speaker cabinet to achieve maximum power.”
Both amps have a passive/active input, effects return, a five-band EQ, and a shape switch. Other features include a headphone output and a direct out. The Ashdown Engineering OriginAL C112-300 and the OriginAL C210-300 will be shipping this spring for $599 and $629.
