Gorillaz Head Out On 2018 World Tour

The Gorillaz with Ace

The Gorillaz are back on the road in preparation for their new album, The Now Now, which drops later this month. The animated band will have a new bassist, the band revealed, as Murdoc Niccals is in jail. In his place will be Ace from the cartoon The Powerpuff Girls. Providing the real bass on tour will, of course, be Seye Adeleken, who has also worked with Lana, Emili Sandé, and more.

The trek will begin in Europe for the summer with plenty of festivals and a quick stop in Japan along the way. They’ll head to North America in October with dates in Canada and the U.S., finally wrapping up in Los Angeles on October 20th.
