Megadeth Reissues “Killing Is My Business… and Business Is Good! – The Final Kill”
Megadeth’s iconic album Killing Is My Business… and Business Is Good! has once again been reissued in a new package called “The Final Kill.” The band’s debut album has been newly remixed by Mark Lewis (Trivium, Devil Driver, Whitechapel) with ten bonus tracks including live cuts and the original 1984 “Skull Beneath The Skin” demo.
The original lineup of Dave Mustaine, Chris Poland, Gar Samuelson, and David Ellefson was a bit of an interesting mix, says Ellefson. “It was not easy for us to pull together musically because we were four very separate-sounding musicians,” he told Louder Sound. “Gar was Billy Cobham and Keith Moon, Chris was coming from a John McLaughlin jazz-fusion thing, and Dave and I were the hard rock, heavy metal, punk guys. But some real musical fortitude came out of it.”
Killing Is My Business… and Business Is Good! – The Final Kill is available now on CD, vinyl and as a digital download (iTunes and Amazon MP3).
