The duo of bassist John Ferrara and percussionist Seth Moutal recently premiered a new concert film from their January 2019 performance at The Museum of Modern Renaissance. This incredible video is full of amazing energy as Ferrara and Moutal push themselves musically.

John Ferrara has been releasing music with Consider The Source for years, and for the past few years, he’s been crafting mind-boggling solo bass cover songs and originals. Now, Ferrara has unleashed his first solo album, “A Harmony of Opposites.”

As bassist for the Sci-Fi Middle Eastern Fusion band Consider the Source, you may not have expected John Ferrara to drop a Stone Temple Pilots cover. But that’s exactly what he just did.

Consider the Source have announced a new batch of tour dates in support of their latest release, “You Are Literally A Metaphor.” The trio of guitarist Gabriel Marin, drummer Jeff Mann, and bassist John Ferrara will spend the summer on tour in the U.S.

Consider the Source have released their first new album in four years, called “You Are Literally A Metaphor.” The record is the sixth studio effort from the Sci-Fi Middle Eastern Fusion band.

During the 2019 Winter NAMM show, Victor Wooten and John Ferrara got together at the Hartke booth to jam, and it was fantastic.

I was elated to hear that Consider the Source has a new album coming out this year, and even more excited to see this first single. “You Are Literally A Metaphor” is due out on March 1st, and if “Enemies of MagicK” is any indication, it’s going to be epic.

Consider The Source has announced their first leg of 2019 tour dates. The champions of sci-fi Middle Eastern fusion music will begin with an appearance at the Winter Werk Out Festival in Columbus, Ohio to kick things off. As always, bassist John Ferrara will be melting faces along the way.
