Gov’t Mule has big news this month with a lineup change and a new album. The group announced that bassist Jorgen Carlsson has left the fold after fifteen years.

Pink Floyd’s groundbreaking album “Dark Side of the Moon” turned 50 this month and musicians around the world are paying homage. That includes Gov’t Mule, who has announced a tour called “Dark Side of the Mule.”

Much of the U.S. is in a deep freeze, but spring is right around the corner and we have plenty to look forward to. That now includes a new headlining tour by Gov’t Mule, in support of their latest album, “Heavy Load Blues”.

Toto guitarist and session ace Steve Lukather has just released a new solo album called “I Found The Sun Again”. Co-produced and engineered by Ken Freeman, the album includes bassists Jorgen Carlsson and John Pierce.
