King Crimson has had a long and storied past in its 50 years with multiple lineups and multiple sounds. Now the highly influential progressive rock band is the focus of a new documentary called “In the Court of the Crimson King”.

Gabriel Riccio and Trey Gunn have teamed up for the mammoth task of creating a new score book called “King Crimson: The Discipline Era Transcriptions”. The 256-page book features full-band transcriptions from Crimson’s fruitful ’80s era.

After resisting the streaming movement for several years, King Crimson’s entire studio discography is now available on Apple Music and will be available on Spotify in June.

Each year since 2014, King Crimson releases a box set of live and rare recordings from the band’s history. The Elements Tour Box 2018 follows suit with tracks taken from rehearsals, live performances, studio recordings, alternate takes, and more with several clips that have never been released.
