Following their inaugural in August, BassCon Online will be returning this fall with a three-day online bass fest in November. This go-around, dubbed BCO2, will feature special guests Hadrien Feraud, Yolanda Charles, Tim Lefebvre, and David Ellefson.

The bass world lost a legend last week with the passing of Tower of Power bassist Francis “Rocco” Prestia. Now, a huge gathering of the bass community will be getting together to remember him.

My good friend Steve Lawson shared this video a couple of days ago, saying “the great Yolanda Charles sings and plays bass on ‘Purple Rain’ last night with Hans Zimmer. Guthrie Govan AND Johnny Marr on guitar. Amazing Prince tribute.” It sure is. RIP, Prince.
