Darkglass Electronics has expanded its amp lineup with two new heads. The Microtubes 200 and Alpha·Omega 200 are the most compact versions of the amps in terms of size, weight, and power.

Bergantino Audio Systems has revamped its Reference Series with the Reference II lineup to include a 1×12” cabinet and an all-new 1×15” cabinet.

Fender’s Rumble Series of bass combo amps has expanded with its largest offering yet: the Rumble 800. Loaded with two 10-inch Eminence neodymium speakers and a compression horn, the unit is rated at 800 watts while weighing in at 29 pounds.

EBS has unveiled a new bass combo amp called the Magni 502. The lightweight model uses neodymium speakers and lighter materials to keep the weight down. From the previous Magni line, the weight has dropped 13 pounds.

Trickfish Amplification has added a new model to their cabinet lineup with the TF112M. The lightweight cab, which they also call the “Mini 112,” is designed for sonic efficiency in a small package.

Boss’s CUBE amp family has a few new members, including the Dual CUBE Bass LX. The mini amplifiers are designed for portability with power options of an included AC adaptor or eight AA batteries.

Trace Elliot has launched the Pro Series 4×10 and 2×12 cabinets, marking a return to large venue options. The models are a follow-up to their new 1200-watt TE-1200 bass amp head.

Markbass has unveiled a new lineup with the MB58R Bass Amp series, consisting of a whopping 20 new cabinets, eight combo amps, and a new head unit. The series is described as having a “next-level power-to-weight ratio”.

Ashdown Engineering has rolled out another new bass amp for 2022. The LB-30 2.N head is a 30-watt all-tube head that has traditional speaker outputs as well as on-board IR emulations of six cabinets.

2022 marks the 25th Anniversary since Ashdown Engineering set up shop, and they’re celebrating with new bass gear. In addition to unveiling the newest evolution of their ABM line, they’ve also announced a limited edition of their ABM-400 head.

Ashdown Engineering was on hand at NAMM to celebrate its 25th anniversary with new products including the latest iteration of their ABM series of bass amps. The ABM EVO V 750 is the sixth version of the line and has a few new tricks up its sleeve.

Mesa/Boogie has added a new stop on the Subway. Their lightweight bass amp series has expanded to include the D-350, which is the smallest and lightest bass amp in Mesa history. The 350-watt, 3.1-pound head is also their most affordable.
