Jackson Guitars has announced a plethora of new instruments, but one has stood out for us the most. The X Series Concert Bass CBXNT DX IV seems to be an amalgamation of several vintage basses.

Aria Guitars has unveiled their new products for 2021 including the Jet-B model. Taking cues from its guitar counterpart, the new bass has a singlecut offset body and a 32-inch scale for easier playability.

After debuting some bass models from their custom shop at last year’s NAMM, Charvel has unveiled two new retrofied production basses with a Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJIV and the Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass JJV.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Fender, and the company is celebrating with a special series of instruments to commemorate the occasion. The lineup includes Jazz Bass and Precision Bass models.

Gene Simmons has collaborated with Gibson on a joint venture called G², which will introduce a line of instruments across the guitar company’s Gibson, Epiphone, and Kramer brands.

Felton Guitars has announced the King Bass, a signature model for Kevin Scott. Scott worked with luthier Jon Levister to create what he calls “an original take on a classic meets modern tone.”

Fender wrapped up 2020 with the introduction of the limited edition Boxer Series. Made in Japan, the lineup includes a Precision Bass model that comes in Sherwood Green Metallic or Torino Red.

Eastwood Guitars has unveiled another new project for 2021 with the Tiger Bass. Modeled after Jerry Garcia’s iconic instrument, the bass version will carry on many of the features as their guitar tribute.

Last year, G&L introduced the Launch Edition of a new model called the Fallout bass. Now, it’s an official part of the USA-made Fullerton Deluxe lineup. The short-scale bass comes in four color schemes with differing fingerboards.

BITE Guitars has unveiled a new showpiece called the Pussycat Bass, which features a leopard pattern spray-painted by hand. The new finish style is a new offering in the already highly customizable lineup.

Ernie Ball Music Man has unveiled their December lineup for the Ball Family Reserve series, which includes two takes on the Stingray Special. This includes the Stingray Special 5 in a Kinetic Blue finish and the Stingray Special – Passive.

Kiesel Guitars has unveiled the new Dustin Davidson Signature DD4 headless bass. Created with the August Burns Red bassist, the new model is based on the company’s Thanos Series TB4 with special custom shop appointments.
