Yamaha has introduced a new Signature Series model with the Peter Hook Signature BB Bass. The former Joy Division/New Order bassist worked with the company to combine aspects of his BB1200S and the BB734A that he currently plays with The Light.

Warwick has expanded its Rockbass Alien Deluxe Hybrid Thinline series of basses to include eight models. Each offers a different aspect of the instrument, which is centered around a thin hollow body fitted with both magnetic and piezo pickups.

Traveler Guitar has unveiled a new line of acoustic instruments. The Redlands Concert Series range, which is named after the company’s hometown in California, includes a bass that features a miniature 23.25-inch scale for maximum portability.

Billy Sheehan’s signature Attitude Bass is getting a special 30th Anniversary model this year. The limited-edition model will celebrate its origins by incorporating elements of the bassists’s original customizations to his bass dubbed “The Wife.”
