I'm starting a band. I've already found myself an extremely talented drummer, and I'm a very talented guitar player. We're both students, so we'll only be able to play once or twice a week. Our influences include The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, Dave Matthews, The Mars Volta, Pink Floyd, etc... We need a talented bass player who has good technical ability, understands music, and can jam. Bonus points for funk influence.
