I am looking for a bass player for my traditional country band. Material consists of my originals and covers ranging from classic country to 90's country. Upright or electric is fine. We play gigs in Texas, as well as many other states. No kind of drug use is permitted in this band!! Looking for a team player who would like to be part of something special. Practice is usually twice a week, with no compensation. Email for more info if you are interested.

Hey, my name is Jon Paul and I'm a singer/songwriter looking for an upright player. I play folk music with a blues edge to it; similar to Ryan Adams, Ray Lamontagne, Amos Lee, M. Ward type of style. I'm looking for a professional player to perform with. I'm working on my second CD right now (all bass tracks are already recorded). I take music extremely seriously and am looking for someone just as serious as I am about playing good, tight music.

What I'm looking for in a player:

My main concern is time and feel. This is an absolute must for me. I don't like to be rushed at all. The songs have got to be in the pocket.
Strong understanding of music theory.
Good attitude with fun personality.
Being able to sing harmonies are a huge plus

Seeking a pianoist and bass player for new original comedy "Is That Yo Mama ?" / All of the music in the show is original . The play opens for a 2 week run the 2nd and 3rd weekends in October .
