Need good Bass player tonight (denver)
Posted on 03/12 | Respond to this post on Craigslist -
Here is another posting for a Bass player. My bass player had to work tonight and we have plans to play at a little place down town
for a good time. The music is simple Hendrix, ZZtop so on Classic Rock it would be pretty much a jam. I hate to give up when I have a gig no matter how big or small.
We are guitar and drums both are very good players. If you are a good player over 21 ( amps are at the Bar Bring own Bass)and would like to come play some fun music and have some drinks at a place with a real
hyper audiance. Pay will be work out. Don't be Scared!! Easy gig CALL me at

Zen Conspiracy looking for awesome Bass Player! (Longmont/Boulder/Denver)
Posted on 02/27 | Respond to this post on Craigslist -
Zen Conspiracy is a Longmont-based band that writes, records, and performs original music. Our music tips toward the heavier side but remains grounded in reggae melodies. Our style is influenced by 90's Thrash, Death Metal, and Reggae.
Our bass guitarist has recently chosen to leave the band due to directional differences. This means were in the market for a new one. Were open minded about music influences, but desire a backbone drive that seats well with our overall sound a well-controlled rhythm and melody capable of sustained beauty and violence. Ideally a bassist that is well disciplined in the art of Reggae & Metal styles. Our sound is pretty unique as it blends the two genres. From a backbone perspective a finger playing 4-6 string bassist that can bring and drive a reggae groove would blend in very nicely. A candidate must be able to contribute to our music writing and be able to jive with our bands direction and vision. Our current bass player is willing to assist in acclimating in a new member for a seamless transition of our recorded material.
Requirements are few, but those that exist are important. Available to rehearse 2-3 times per week (evenings around 6pm and/or weekends), available to play live shows twice monthly. Financial stability and maturity (i.e. you dont need a ride, gas money or someone to bail you out of jail). Youre a team player willing and able to contribute to something that is bigger than the sum of its parts. Old enough to drink and smart enough to do it responsibly (this doesnt mean you have to drink). Were an amateur band with a professional attitude and work ethic so we need you to be the same.
We prefer you have your own instrument but gear is not an issue.
Call John @ 720-255-6167 to line up an audition.
