Bass player for an original aggressive rock / punk rock band – female musicians welcome

We are currently a 4-piece band writing some rocking original tunes and looking for a bass player to finalize the sound. We have female lead vocals and guitar with male guitar and drums. We are looking for anyone, male or female, to complete our tunes with some killer bass lines. We want to be ready to play live by end of September so we hope you are a quick learner and can quickly come up with some bass lines for our almost complete originals.

This is not a temporary gig. We are looking for someone who is in it for the long haul.

Our sound can be compared to a mixture of Alice in Chains, Evanescence, Flyleaf, and Paramore

The only covers we play are:
Flyleaf – Fully Alive
Hole - Violet
Paramore – Pressure
Paramore – Turn if Off
Kittie – Paperdoll

All original Minneapolis/St. Paul area southern rock / country rock band seeks experienced bass player between 25 - 35 yrs old. We are currently working on material for our second album and gigs are planned for the late summer / early fall.

Serious project! Your timing could not be better!!! Major Record label flying into town very soon to see Minneapolis based pop/rock band, Select Three who recently opened for Bon Jovi at the Excel Center, has appeared in a national TV commercial, and won Fox 9's 2009 Battle of Bands. Select Three is seeking an experienced bass guitarist. (S3's former bass player recently left for the military.) Musicians should be experienced with a good image, be between the ages of 18 -30ish, and own their own equipment. Professional rehearsal space provided. Musicians should also be available to rehearse approximately 2 -3 nights/days per week and be willing to travel if picked up by record label.
