Serious musicians willing to build a long term project only, please.

Now building a Blues, Funk and Fusion project. Goal is to gig locally by end of April to May time frame, depending on how soon talent comes together. Some local-regional travel should be expected for festivals / out of town venues.

Fun and flexibility are essential here. If you play more than one instrument or sing that’s a plus. You should be willing and able to play a range of styles since we'll play some corporate events as well as parties, bars, and restaurants. And… Since we do live in Phoenix, expect to throw a few Country or Oldies Rock tunes into mix occasionally but Rock or Country is not the focus.

You have your own basic gear. The band's PA, monitors, mixer gear is very gig-worthy. We want to hear from you. Please respond with contact info, and your availability to practice and gig.

The McGrath Project from LA is playing the international pop overthrow festival at Hollywood alley on March 7th at 4 pm. doing an 8 song set of original material. Our band consists of rock n roll bass legend Tim Bogert of Vanilla fudge and drummer Chet McCrackin of the Doobie Brothers but due to double booking are unable to make it. We are a three piece band in search of a bass player.
We currently have several opportunities to have our music professionally produced, as well as made into music video's, and a possibility of being on the Soundtrack for an upcoming B-movie by NSG productions.
Preferably we need someone who has their own equipment, at least a bass guitar and a practice amp, and any other musical talents such as singing or able to play multiple instruments is a plus.
As far as our sound so far, we have developed an alternative, progressive, post-everything sound influence by many different styles of music including rock, ambient, blues, r&b, pentatonic scales, even post-hardcore. Very free-flowing and open.
Based in Gilbert with practices here, and in Tempe. Upcoming shows all over Valley.
