Our Contemporary Worship Team is currently auditioning bass players. Vocal ability is always a plus, but we are open to what the Spirit blows our way.
Our CWT has been going for 15+ years and has been blessed with a dedicated core group of 12 talented singers and musicians. Most are volunteer congregation members (some working music professionals) ranging in age from 21 to 50+. We are a vocal band, striving always to sing His praises and spread His Word.
We rehearse Thursdays 6-8pm and again Sundays 9:30-10:30am. Our service is 10:45-noon every Sunday and is casual (jeans OK).
Our large sanctuary has a great 'sound' for Christian vocal music.
We have a pro bass rig (SWR/Ampeg) and monitor gear, concert quality video/sound and a Tech Arts ministry team. We have been worshiping 150+ and offer six or seven "K Love / Air One" style songs each week.
Your age is not an important factor. Our congregation members range in age from 9 to 90.
We need someone who is able to communicate well and translate The Word - in music and song.

Our audition format:
1. email & phone exchange of info / resume'
2. you attend one of our Sunday 10:45am worship services
3. we meet, then you sit in at a Thursday pm rehearsal
4. we evaluate / discuss / offer position

We are older guys from ages 44 to 52 that have talent and are serious about finding the right people to finish off our band. We already have gigs but cannot play without a very good bass player.
