Three members of the classic Gang of Four lineup are reuniting for a 2022 North American tour. The influential rock band will include co-founders Jon King and Hugo Burnham as well as bassist Sara Lee.

Nikki Sixx has led an incredible life in rock and roll, and now he’s telling how it all came to be. His new memoir is entitled “The First 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx” and chronicles his early years that led to his stardom with Motley Crue.

King’s X frontman Dug Pinnick has just released his fifth solo album, entitled “Joy Bomb”. The bass legend’s latest effort features thirteen original songs with the monster tone and riffs for which he is known.

Peter Hook & The Light have unveiled a 26-date North American tour that will take place in 2022. The outing will see the group playing the albums “Unknown Pleasures” and “Closer” in addition to an opening set of New Order material.

After teasing the project in September, David Ellefson’s latest band The Lucid has released their debut album. The 9-track record is the bassist’s first release since leaving Megadeth earlier this year.

Initially released in 2010, “The Mark King Bass Book” by Stuart Clayton has been re-licensed and re-released. The 192-page book features transcriptions of 10 of King’s bass lines from Level 42’s catalog as well as four live bass solos.

Josh Woodard has left the ranks of A Day To Remember. The bassist, who has been the group’s sole bassist, made the announcement in reaction to allegations made against him from last year.

Cannibal Corpse has announced a new headlining tour in support of their latest album, “Violence Unimagined”. The outing will also celebrate the 40th anniversary of Metal Blade Records and will feature support from Whitechapel and Revocation.

Bassist and composer Matt Ulery has released many beautiful albums, but they’ve all been made in the studio. Now he’s produced his first live record. “Delicate Charms Live at the Green Mill” captures his band in the spring of 2021.

English Two-Tone band The Specials have returned with a themed album. “Protest Songs 1924-2012” collects songs with a message from the 88 year period. Horace Panter says the record was influenced by the upheaval of the past two years.
