Top Ten: The Jeroen Paul Thesseling Interview, Playing As One, the Best Bass Cover Tunes, Plus the Top Bass Videos

We kicked off a new bass video series, focusing on all-bass arrangements of great cover tunes. No Treble readers responded with tons of views, putting Zander Zon’s “Stairway To Heaven” and Thomas Morgan’s “Karma Police” in the top 10 for the week.

Our bass of the week, the Maruszczyk Instruments Frog Omega Europe 5, came in at #3 and caused lots of GAS-inflicted bassists to hit every photo in the gallery. We did too.

Damian Erskine took a break from reader questions this week to share his experience on the road with a band who inspired him to write “Playing As One”. In this column, Damian discusses what it takes to be a great band, by focusing less on what it means to be viewed as a great musician.
