  1. Any idea when these will be available state side?

  2. Only one speaker out plug…!! Why…??!!

I got pretty excited about this amp, especially after reading some enthusiastic reviews. Unfortunately, excitement soon changed to disappointment when I noticed that the
LWA 1000 has only one speaker output jack. This, in a unit that sports so many great features and otherwise seems so well thought out. It’s like equipping a Ferrari with a transmission that doesn’t go beyond 4th gear. What really amazes me, though, is that not one of the reviews I have read has held Warwick to account for this (to me, at least) glaring oversight.

This amp is OK but not what it is advertised to be. Contrary to what the videos say, it is not the only Class D amp on the market to provide the wattage advertised. It has that harsh solid state sound that some of the other companies overcome by using hybrid (Tube/Solid State technology). It does have some nice features. The dual channels are very niece. The EQ is very nice because they kept it simple. I also like the compression. It seems like most Bass Amp makers have gotten away from adding compression in the last 10 years. All in All it isn’t a bad amp/sound but Warwick really over hyped it. The advertisement makes it sound like it has the best sound out there in the Class D market and it simply is not true. You can find better by doing your research and trying one out. I bought one because of the advertisement and was pretty excited about the dual channels. (I like to play 2 guitars during a performance) but was very disappointed by its, sound. I guess I can always use a $799.00 practice amp.

Just purchased the LWA 1000. I think its awsome! I have always been die hard ampeg my whole life. But when looking to down size from my SVT classic 350 tube head i did a pile of research! And to be frank the SVT pro 7 is bunk as bs! And seeing all the problems everyone has with them and ampeg not fixing the problem, and still selling them is also bs. So in my opinion my Warwick thumb NT 5 coming through the LWA with the WCA 410, and 115 cabs is F’N thumpin! Kudos to Warwick, and Mr.Hellborg!
