  1. This album is a CLASSIC if you dig R&B bass. His playing in “Love The One You’re With”, it does not get any better. Aretha “Live at the Fillmore” and Donnie Hathaway Live at the Troubadour should be required listening!

    I made a tape (yeah, it was that long ago, a cassette tape) with the live Aretha album this track is from on one side, and the live Donny Hathaway album on the other side. I listened to that on the way to every gig for several years. One cannot go wrong listening to Jerry Jemmott and Willie Weeks on the way to a gig!
