Ernie Ball Music Man and Vulfpeck Announce Joe Dart Signature Bass

Ernie Ball Music Man Joe Dart Signature Bass

Vulfpeck’s Joe Dart has a new signature bass by Ernie Ball Music Man. The Joe Dart Bass is initially limited to 50 units and will only be on sale during the month of March.

The bass features a Classic Sterling ash body with a natural satin finish, a flamed maple neck, and a figured maple fingerboard. Its pickup is a special custom passive MM humbucker designed in collaboration with Dart and his bandmate Jack Stratton.

The musicians also harp on its simplicity and the fact that it has only a volume knob in this release video:

Each of the first run of basses will have “First 50” engraved on the backplate. It’s available for order only on Vulfpeck.com for $1,999.

Whats the weight of the Joe Dart Music Man bass????

  2. Joe

Hang on… I though EBMM don’t do signature basses? They’ve been so clear about that over the years. Otherwise, where are the Tony Levin, John Myung… etc. models?

Do you think its only going to be available this month for good? Whats the chance of musicman adding this or something simmilar to their line up?
