Ibanez Introduces Two New Fretless BTB Models
Ibanez has expanded their BTB line with two new fretless basses: the five-string BTB845F and the six-string BTB846F. Aside from the number of strings, the basses share the same features including a 35-inch scale, Bartolini BH2 pickups, an Ibanez custom 3-band preamp, a mono-rail bridge, and neck-through construction.
Each is built with five-piece maple and walnut neck that’s topped with a jatoba fretboard. Its body wings are ash and okoume with a poplar burl top finished in a deep twilight low gloss finish.
Ibanez’s new fretless BTB basses are priced at $999.99 for the five-string and $1,049.99 for the six-string.
