Bass and vocal duo What A Day is back with a new video. This time the minimalistic, experimental French jazz-pop lounge duo of Jonathan Joly and Leah Gracie tackle the song “Donyiti Ahla” by Lebanese singer Nora Rahal. Joly lays down bass and harmony while Gracie sings and uses a typewriter for cool percussion.

Last December, we featured bassist Leonid Vorobyev and his band Leonid & Friends doing an excellent cover of Chicago’s “25 or 6 to 4.” They’re back with another excellent Chicago cover, “I’m A Man.” Nailed it.
