Victor Wooten’s “The Music Lesson” Audio Book on Grammy Nominations Ballot

Victor Wooten: The Music Lesson (audio book)The audio book version of Victor Wooten’s The Music Lesson is in the running for a Grammy, according to a recent mailing from Vic himself. The unabridged 7 CD set, which has been listed in the ballots for Grammy nominations, contains the spoken version of his book as well as unique information and original music, including his song “The Lesson” performed by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.

The bass master also mentioned that his project is making it to our troops overseas.

“The US Dept of Defense has been loading The Music Lesson audio book into MP3 players and issuing them out to American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq,” he said. “I am deeply honored.”
