Markbass Announces Ground Stereo Pre Preamp and BAS 121 Lites Cabinets

The list 2011 line of new Markbass gear continues with the introduction of the Ground Stereo Pre preamp and BAS-121 Lite powered cabinets.

Ground Stereo Pre Preamp

Markbass Ground Stereo Pre PreampMarkbass teamed up with endorser Alain Caron to design the components of a new rig, resulting in the Ground Stereo Pre and BAS-121 Lite powered cabinets.

The Ground Stereo Pre is Caron’s signature preamp designed as a foot pedal. Though it can function in mono, the key to the pedal is its stereo outputs that can be muted independently with footswitches. It also includes a stereo effects loop, 4-band EQ, an aux input, and a headphone output.

BAS 121 Lites Cabinets

Markbass BAS 121 Lites CabinetThe Ground Stereo Pre was designed to be used in tandem with a pair of its companion two-way powered cabinets, the BAS 121 Lites. Featuring rear porting, the cabinet holds a 12” speaker and 1.25” compression driver and custom horn, all putting out 800-watts digital plus 200-watts analog.
