New from La Bella: Stang Bass Strings Offer Five Sets for Vintage Mustang Basses
La Bella Strings has introduced a new line of bass strings aimed at a specific type of short-scale bass. The Stang Series takes the company’s most popular string designs and puts them into a format that is compatible with Fender’s vintage through-body Mustang basses.
The Stang Series includes five sets: Super Polished, Black Nylon Tape, Stainless Steel Flat Wound, Pure Nickel Round Wond, and Gold Flats. This in turn allows for a variety of tones for your short scale. All of the sets have a wound length of 34 inches to accommodate the through-body bridge design. La Bella stresses these strings are not compatible with newer top-loading Mustang bridges.
The La Bella Stang Bass String sets are available now with direct prices ranging from $35.99 to $49.99.
