Gear Watch: Boss PS-6 Harmonist
Boss has announced the newest Harmonist pedal – the PS-6 – a compact pedal featuring pitch shifting effects and three-voice harmony. The new Harmonist has four effect modes, including Harmony, Pitch Shifter, Detune, and the new Super-Bend, which creates three- and four-octave pitch sweeps and pedal-bending effects.
Super-Bend is controlled through the Shift, Rise Time, and Fall Time controls, but real-time control is possible with the option to plug in an expression pedal. Creating harmonies with the Harmonist is as easy as choosing 2 or 3-voices and the key.
