Nina DeCesare to Perform All Six Bach Cello Suites on Tour This February

The Bach Cello Suites are some of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written, no matter what instrument they’re played on. Nina DeCesare will prove it during a February tour, performing all six suites on the double bass.
The tour, which DeCesare calls a dream come true, begins February 6th in Washington, D.C. She’ll bounce around the country from Texas to California to New York, eventually wrapping up on February 22nd in Baltimore, Maryland.
DeCesare is bassist for the Baltimore Symphony and teaches at the Peabody Institute. She is also the founder of the Artemis Bass Initiative.
