Trace Elliot Expands Effects Line With Bass-Focused Overdrive Pedal

Trace Elliot Bass Overdrive Pedal

Trace Elliot has expanded its line of bass effects units with the Bass Overdrive Pedal. Clad in the company’s signature green, the new stompbox has been designed to deliver grit without getting muddy and losing definition.

Trace Elliot says the high-overhead, soft-asymmetrical clipping circuit offers a vintage, tube-like drive. An internal transformer gives more headroom to retain tone quality, “especially on those lower frequencies,” they write.

The Bass Overdrive Pedal has a four-knob layout with Drive, Level, Tone, and Blend knobs. In addition to traditional 1/4-inch input and outputs, it has a Dry Out jack to allow users to send the dirty signal and dry signals to different paths, either separate amps or mixing boards.

The Trace Elliot Bass Overdrive Pedal will carry a street price of $199.99.

Trace Elliot Bass Overdrive Pedal Features:

Drive, Level, Tone, Blend Controls
High-Overhead, Soft-Asymmetrical Clipping Circuit
Dry Output
True Bypass Switching
Bipolar 18V internal supply from standard 9VDC supply or battery
