Hadrien Feraud Goes Beyond Technique In New Bass Masterclass

Hadrien Feraud Masterclass

Bass phenom Hadrien Feraud has announced a new masterclass to share his approach to the instrument. However, it’s not just another set of exercises. The four-hour video series is described as “beyond technique,” as Feraud teaches using a philosophy-first approach.

“How to think. How to break through the invisible ceiling. How to go from good to great,” the masterclass website explains. “Not what to play. Not how to operate a bass. But the musical intelligence that makes the difference between playing bass and being a musician. A complete system — complex ideas made simple, structured for self-study, yours to keep for life.”

Feraud has also launched a seven-part documentary series to share his journey from discovering bass to developing his language and process. The docuseries is a free preview of the masterclass that is accessible by signing up via email.

After the docuseries, the masterclass materials are split into eight sections: Transcribing, Modes, Applying the Modes, Playing in a Band, Action & Technique, Fretless Bass, Bonus Materials, and Performances.

The masterclass will be available on June 1st for $249. Feraud is offering a pre-launch special of 20% off. For more info, visit Hadrien Feraud’s website.
