GoFundMe Launched for Bassist Quintin Berry

Quintin Berry is an amazing bassist with a unique approach he calls the “cradle style.” No matter how he holds the bass, he creates an unmistakable groove and has been a pillar of the bass community for years.
Now he needs our help.
Berry is about to undergo a medical procedure that will put him out of work for quite some time, a GoFundMe campaign explains.
“Quintin is preparing to undergo prostate surgery and will be unable to work for an estimated 3 to 6 months while he recovers. Like many career musicians, he does not have health insurance, and the financial burden of surgery, medical bills, medications, rent, groceries, and everyday living expenses is more than anyone should have to face alone.”
The fundraiser aims to collect $15,000 to cover Berry’s rent, food, medications, medical expenses, and everyday living costs while he recovers.
“If Quintin’s music has ever made you smile, if you’ve shared a stage with him, heard him play, talked music with him, we ask that you consider making a donation,” they share. “Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference.”
