Lettuce recently shared their take on Frankie Beverly “Before I Let Go,” with Erick “Jesus” Coomes holding down the low end. Coomes is one of those bassists who always looks completely relaxed. He is sitting down, looking chill, and meanwhile doing the absolute most on the bass. His pocket with Adam Deitch is deep and greasy. It looks like Coomes is playing a Fender Jazz Bass through an Aguilar rig, and its warm, punchy, and full.
