Through the magic of “related videos”, I stumbled on this one by a band named Future Perfekt, performing “Purple Haze” live at the New Parish in Oakland, CA.

And I’m glad I did. This is one tight version, with some nice bass work by Scott Thompson.

    I’m sorry but this band plays terrible, spaced-out music. I can’t believe anyone could sit through 5 minutes of this. Someone needs to sit down with that drummer, get him to reevaluate his life decisions, tell him life’s not all about playing drums for shitty bands
