Diazpora, Featuring Miu: Risin’ High
Here at No Treble HQ, we have a special place in our hearts for tight bass grooves in horn bands. Here’s bassist David Nesselhauf laying it down with his band Diazpora and vocalist Miu on the tune “Risin’ High.”
Nesselhauf shares that the bass is a custom Hot-Wire Bass with a special finish.
“They managed to get my favorite car color directly from Mercedes Benz,” he writes. “Matching headstock, haha!”
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
