TC Electronic Introduces the PolyTune 3
TC Electronic has updated their Polytune stompbox tuner with the Polytune 3.
The polyphonic tuner now incorporates their BonaFide buffer for preserving your tone over complex pedal setups. It still retains the true bypass as well, and the company added a switch to toggle between true buffer and true bypass modes to suit all players.
Another new feature is an “Always On” tuning mode that continues to detect your pitch even when not muted. As with the previous incarnations, the PolyTune 3 allows for tuning all your strings at once or in a monophonic mode. It offers up to .02 cent accuracy with its strobe tuner with a 109-LED display to visualize your tuning.
The PolyTune 3 will be available worldwide in May with a street price of $99.
