Korn’s Fieldy Announces Solo Album Release Date

Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu’s long-awaited solo album, Bassically, is finally coming to fans this year. The Korn bassist has set a release date of November 17th for his seventeen-track solo debut.
While Fieldy is known for the hard rock and nu-metal stylings of his band, this album is something completely different. “This is a bass album that encompasses the last nine years of my life on the road recording with a variety of special and unique basses,” he writes on his Pledge Music page. “This project features recordings of mine from dressing rooms, tour buses, hotel rooms and other unique locations playing on basses just as obscure as the locations. It’s a blend of funk, fusion, and rock – I can’t wait to share it with you.”
Bassically was produced by the bassist’s writing partner Anthony “Q” Quiles and mixed by Chris Collier. Fieldy’s Korn bandmates Jonathan Davis, Ray Luzier, and Brian “Head” Welch contribute to the tracks.
The album is available for pre-order now through Pledge Music, where you can also hear samples of sever songs. Pre-order rewards range from a digital download of the album to a signed poster to a Fieldy Signature Ibanez bass.
