Duff McKagan and The Levee Walkers Release New Songs

Levee Walkers: EPIn 2015, Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan teamed up with Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready and Screaming Trees drummer Barrett Martin for a new group called the Levee Walkers. Based in Seattle, the band recently recruited local singer-songwriter Ayron Jones to release the songs “All Things Fade Away” and “Madness” on a two-song EP.

The downtempo, introspective “All Things Fade Away” premiered on Rolling Stone and features McKagan laying down a pad of bass with a tasty crunch to it.

“Ayron is such a special and badass new Seattle artist,” McKagan told the magazine. “I went to a show of his last year in Seattle, and it was one of those that just simply made me realize how glad I am that I chose music as a path. Mike and Barrett are, of course, the best at what they do as well. I’m a proud Walker of Levees!”

The Levee Walkers EP is available now as a digital download and seven-inch vinyl.
