Prestige Guitars Unveils the Eric Bass Signature Bass

Prestige Guitars Eric Bass Signature Basses

Shinedown bassist Eric Bass has a new signature model coming out from Prestige Guitars this year. The instrument will feature an offset, double cutaway solid ash body with a one-piece bolt-on maple neck.

“This design is the culmination of nearly 2 years of hard work and collaboration,” says Prestige Guitars VP Adrian O’Brien. “Designing and redesigning, perfecting a bass that is exactly what Eric wants and needs both onstage and in the studio. Eric has toured for the past year and a half with various prototypes of Prestige basses, and this design is the result of real-world R&D. He played these basses in every type of venue imaginable before we settled on the final design. It is road tested and road ready, which is a great thing as Shinedown is at the top of their game, in the midst of a major world tour supporting ‘Attention Attention’, their most recent release which has blown up!”

The bass’s body has a flat top and back to increase the body mass, while its thinner neck profile offers faster playability. Other features include a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound single coil pickup, a Hipshot A-Style bridge, and Hipshot HB 7 tuners. It comes in three finish options: Satin Trans Dark Red with black binding and matching black pickguard, Satin Arctic White with Mother of Pearl Binding and matching Mother of Pearl pickguard, or Natural with a black pickguard and binding.

The Prestige Guitars Eric Bass Signature Bass is open to pre-order for $1,499.99.
