James LoMenzo keeps busy after Megadeth, with Hydrogyn
Metal head James LoMenzo has been keeping busy, despite having just left the ranks of metal legend Megadeth. LoMenzo will be recording on the new Hydrogyn album, sharing bass duties with Jake Wolf. The album is in the process of being recorded, and will be ready for release this summer, along with a tour by the band.
LoMenzo’s resume also includes laying down the low end for White Lion, Slash’s Snake Pit, David Lee Roth, and Black Label Society, will appear on a selection of the new album’s tracks, including their first single, “The Right Thing Now.”
Following his departure from Megadeth, LoMenzo posted this message: “Friends, my heart is full with your kindness and well wishes. This is the richest part of my years with the mighty Megadeth. I’m truly excited about the two Daves getting back together. I think it will be great for Megadeth fans. Anyone who knows me, knows I love doing all kinds of things musically and other wise so I’m excited for what’s ahead and very grateful for all the great music, fantastic shows and the many friends and fans I’ve come to know over the past four years. Stay tuned and I’ll let you know what’s next when it’s next!”
