Mayones Now Shipping the Jabba Rev 5 Bass

Mayones Jabba Rev 5 Bass

Mayones has expanded its Jabba line of basses with a new reverse headstock model. The Jabba Rev 5 is a five-string bass, built with a profiled swamp ash body, wenge core, and an eye poplar top that comes in three transparent finishes: Antique Emerald Green Raw, Antique Red Velvet Raw, and Black Raw.

Its bolt-on neck, which is made of hard rock maple, is mounted with six bolts mounted on ferrules. The Pau Ferro fingerboard has twenty-four frets adorned with acrylic block inlays. For electronics, Mayones fits it with Norstrand MM and J pickups with their own Musashi 2 preamp. The active/passive system has a 3-band EQ, giving the instrument bass, middle, and treble controls in addition to volume, balance, and a passive tone knob. Other features include Hipshot Ultralite tuners and a Mayones Big Foot bridge.

The Mayones Jabba REV 5 is available now for $3,652.
