Autopsy Announces New Bassist
Autopsy announced last month that longtime bassist Joe Trevisano was leaving the fold. Now the death metallers have named their newest member.
“Greg Wilkinson is confirmed as the madman to provide the four string thunder for Autopsy! He’s a good bud of ours and we are well acquainted with his crushing musical skills. We know you’re going to be as stoked with our choice as we are. Give him a nice big welcome, will ya?”
Wilkinson also plays in the projects Brainoil and Leather Glove. He is the owner and engineer of Earhammer Studios in Oakland, California, where he has produced High On Fire, Autopsy, Necrot, Mortuous, and more.
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast.
