Bass of the Week: Drake Custom Basses Battani Bass

Andrew Drake of Drake Custom Basses shared one of his latest builds, a stunning semi-hollow bass with lots of cool features. The Battani Bass was built for a customer who had a maple tree fall in his front yard, which was used to craft the body. Drake fitted it with a gorgeous stabilized Buckeye burl top for extra beauty.
The Battani has a medium 32-inch scale. Its roasted, quartersawn maple neck and fretboard are adorned with custom Richlite inlays. Other features include a set of TV Jones Thunder Mag pickups, Hipshot tuners, and a KSM bridge.
