Harley Benton Unveils 25th Anniversary Model Basses

Harley Benton JB-25TH Bass

Harley Benton is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special edition of guitars and basses in a Firemist Gold finish. The two basses include the JB-25TH and the Enhanced 25TH. Even as limited edition basses with finer appointments, the line continues the company’s history of affordable instruments.

The Jazz Bass-inspired JB-25TH is built with a Canadian roasted flame maple neck, an American alder body, and a dark laurel fingerboard. “Powered by two Roswell JBA alnico-5 pickups, The JB-25TH Firemist provides clear and articulate tones that remain well-defined, from smooth and round in clean settings, to a dirty growl in overdriven situations,” the company writes.

Meanwhile, the Enhanced 25TH is fitted with a Roswell humbucker in the bridge position and a split coil in the neck position. It steps things up with an active/passive preamp complete with a 2-band EQ. Other features include 22 stainless steel frets, black block inlays, and a black TUSQ XL nut.

Both of the basses ship in a deluxe gig bag with an exclusive 25th Anniversary commemorative lanyard. The Harley Benton JB-25TH and the Enhanced 25TH are available for $326 and $545, respectively.
