Vola Guitars Announces the Vasti 5 STM J1 Bass

Vola Guitars Vasti 5 STM J1 Bass

Vola Guitars has teamed up with The Dali Thundering Concept bassist Steve Tréguier to create the Vasti 5 STM J1, which also marks the introduction of the Vola ATR-1 Active 3-band EQ. Featuring a unique body shape and wood choices, Vola says the instrument is “equipped with a myriad of cutting-edge features.”

Its roasted maple neck has an extended 35-inch scale with a roasted maple fingerboard inlaid with a Mother of Pearl “ST” logo at the 12th fret. The ash body comes in a sandblasted Olympic White Matte finish and is fitted with Vola’s SB5 pickups in the neck and bridge positions. The new ATR-1 preamp has bass, mid, and treble controls with a mini-switch for active/passive operation. It also has a kill switch.

Vola opted for Gotoh hardware with a 303 SJ 5 bridge and GB707 tuners.

The Vola Guitars Vasti 5 STM J1 is handmade in Japan. It is available direct for $1,319.
