“Who Killed Nancy” Documentary Released in U.S.
A documentary claiming Sid Vicious could not have murdered his girlfriend Nancy Spungen has just made it’s U.S. debut.
Who Killed Nancy covers the details of Nancy’s last moments, as well as Sid’s, with testimonials from the couple’s friends and followers, including Vicious’ predecessor in the Sex Pistols, Glen Matlock. The film points out that Sid had taken such a large dose of Tuinal that he would have been incapable of picking up the knife that was used to stab her, let alone attack her.
The film, directed by Sex Pistols aficionado Alan G. Parker, was originally released in the UK last year and is based on his book Sid Vicious: No One Is Innocent.
