Ray Riendeau to Release New Solo Album, “Atmospheres”

Eight years since his last solo effort, Ray Riendeau is set to release his latest. Atmospheres will release this summer, after two years of work.

The music blends fusion, jazz, rock and electronica and features a big supporting cast, including guitarists Alex Machacek, Nat Janoff, Marco Sfogli, Greg Koch, Jeff Kollman, Ron Jarzombek, Derek Taylor, Rob Michael and Ward Aycock; keyboardists Lalle Larsson, Alex Argento and Matt Guillory; and drummers David Haynes and Martin Diamond.

In other news, Riendeau has completed the bass tracks for James LaBrie’s (Dream Theater) solo album and will join the touring band in support of the CD.

Riendeau also has an instructional book/CD/DVD set coming out later this year through Alfred Publishing.
