Mark Hoppus: Blink 182 Return to the Studio
Blink-182 is back in the studio again, according to frontman/bassist Mark Hoppus, via Twitter.
“At the studio. Re-commencing the blink-182 album… NOW!” he wrote.
Hoppus also gave an update on his blog from the studio, with pictures of the bass he is recording with and his mic’ing technique.
This will be Blink-182’s first studio album since their 2003 self-titled album. After that CD, the group took an “indefinite hiatus,” eventually returning to the stage early last year.
For those eager to see Blink live, Hoppus says you’ll have to wait.
“To those of you asking about new blink-182 tours, there are none until we finish this album,” he tweeted. “This record is priority #1.”
