Gear Watch: Digitech Unveils BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal
Digitech has unveiled their latest bass multi-effects pedal, the BP355. Featuring the same AudioDNA 2 processor as its relatives, the BP355 dishes out modeling of 20 amps, 17 speaker cabs, and more than 70 effects, ranging from distortion to envelope filters with nearly everything in between. It also includes 70 factory and 70 user presets, a Tone Library of 30 sounds and an Effects Library with 30 effects. The unit also allows for a choice between a 3 and 4-band semi –parametric EQ for tonal flexibility.
Digitech designed the pedal to be versatile for all aspects of playing. For practice, the BP355 includes 60-CD quality drum patterns, a 1/8-inch input for portable audio players, and a 20-second looper. An amp/mixer switch is included to enable connection to either an amp or a PA system during performance, and the package includes Cubase LE5 recording software and Digitech’s X-Edit editing software for studio work, all accessible through a USB port.
The Digitech BP355 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal will be available this month with a suggested retail price of $309.95 and a MAP of $199.95. For more details, visit Digitech on the web.
