Bill Wyman Rejoins Rolling Stones for Tribute Album

Bill WymanBill Wyman has teamed up with his old pals in the Rolling Stones to contribute to a new tribute album from Ben Waters, according to the Stones fan site Iorr.org.

Waters pays his respects to late pianist Ian Stewart on the CD entitled Boogie For Stu, which is due in March. Wyman joined the rest of the Stones to record a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Watching the River Flow.”

Wyman split from the group in 1992 to pursue his solo career and writing. There are rumors swirling of a Rolling Stones tour this year, but no word as to whether Wyman will return or if the band will continue with Daryl Jones.
