Skervesen Guitars Introduces Mondo and Prometheus Basses
Polish instrument company Skervesen Guitars has announced two new bass models to their lineup. The instruments are hand-crafted in Poland and can be built with range of options.
Skervesen Guitars Mondo Bass
The Mondo is a 5-string bass with an offset body designed with designer Dominika Pajdowska for a member of the Skervesen team. It was then chosen by Materia bassist/vocalist Michu, who opted for the company’s Bronto headstock and finish.
In addition to an offset body, the Mondo has a fanned fret system with a scale ranging from 36″ on the B-string and 34″ on the G-string. The bodo body is topped with flamed maple finished in a semi-transparent black.
The instrument’s 7-piece maple/walnut neck is adorned with an ebony fretboard fitted with Luminlay glowing dot inlays.
Electronics include a pair of Delano SBC HE/S-4 quad coil humbuckers matched with a Sonar 3-band EQ active preamp. The pickups can be switched into three modes: humucking, coil splitting, or parallel. It also has a push/pull true bypass mode.
