Hot Tuna: Been So Long, Live 1973
Our good friend Will Marks sent us this classic Hot Tuna video featuring bass legend Jack Casady on his Alembic bass. The clip is taken from a 1973 performance at the 46th Street Rock Palace in New York City.

Anthony Jackson has sited Jack Cassady as a major influence in several interviews. That alone makes any video of him worth checking out.

Got to chat with him for awhile few years back when he was back with Jefferson Starship …..I was playing in a band with Slick Aguilar when he was not on the road with them ….had a show pretty close to home …out door show ….Slick dragged me backstage and we had a blast……sat on the stage whole show…..Slick…..Tanx me bruddah….
